Former Take That star Robbie Williams has said that he is keen to become a TV presenter.

The 39-year-old Candy singer admitted that he hopes his passion for interviewing people will eventually lead to him landing a gig on the small screen.

Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, Robbie said: "Someone wrote about how annoying it can be when I interview people and don't let them interview me. But the reasons for this are threefold: firstly, I quite fancy myself as some sort of host or interviewer and like to practise, so it's something I may do at some point.

"Secondly, 99 per cent of interviews are c**p, mediocre questions, and thirdly, I'm genuinely interested in people."

It was recently revealed that Williams and singing sensation Adele are set to team-up for Robbie's next album.
