Lads, time is running out if you want to be in with a chance to win a date with Ms Green on St Patrick's Day!

Ms Green is in town in advance of our national holiday, St Patrick’s Day, and is searching for an Irish Sweetheart to support her in her formal and informal activities throughout the day.

Her busy itinerary consists of visiting a number of local landmarks in Dublin city and she will also be walking with green pride in the St Patrick’s Day Pre-Parade.

Known the world over for her quick-witted nature, intelligence and her sense of style, Ms Green will be looking to meet someone who can match her charm, wit, style and intellect – that in itself will be no mean feat.

Recognised for her flirty nature, Ms. Green will not just settle for any old guy; she is looking for a man; mature and attractive just like herself!

If you think you’d make a good date for Ms Green, be sure to log on to M&Ms Ireland Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/mmsireland and tell her why. Closing date is 1pm on Monday March 11.

Willie Daly, the legendary Lisdoonvarna matchmaker, is currently assisting Ms Green with her search for the perfect Irish date.

He gave RTÉ Ten his top tips for people searching for love and some ideas on how to keep the romance alive:

1. Don’t ever allow yourself to give up. I’ve introduced people in their sixtie's, seventie's and early eightie's. Magical love awaits you, regardless of your age.

2. Start going out more to nice restaurants; a little wine, nice lights, piano music to dance to...! A change of environment can work wonders for a relationship.

3. I don’t think internet dating allows you to properly interact with a person physically, and that’s important. One has to have magic in a relationship, when I introduce a man to a girl when she’s walking towards him and sees him for the first time, he must feel ‘this is the girl I want to spend the rest of my life with’. It’s how love works!
