Eco warrior and frequent flyer Sting has been lined up to join the bill for this year's Marquee gigs in Cork.
The 61-year-old Yoga enthusiast and former chief of The Police brings his cleverly-titled Back to Bass show to Cork Live at The Marquee on July 1.
The show sees Sting performing “his Most Celebrated Hits, Stripped Down With A 5-Piece Band” which features long-time guitarist Dominic Miller, Vinnie Colaiuta on drums, David Sancious on keyboards, Peter Tickell on electric fiddle, and Jo Lawry on vocals.
This is the ninth year of Cork’s Marquee concert and 2013 will also see Elvis Costello, “Dalis of The Delta” ZZ Top, Elton John, The Coronas and Christy Moore playing the big tent.
