A dream has come true for Shameless star David Threlfall and his character, Frank Gallagher, after the comedy-drama filmed scenes at their beloved Manchester City.
The Press Association reports that scenes filmed for the show's final episode on Tuesday show Frank scoring a goal at the City of Manchester Stadium.
"It is a life-changing moment for Frank Gallagher and David Threlfall," said a show spokeswoman.
The final series of Shameless will be shown in the spring and will include a cameo by Take That star Jason Orange as a DJ called Scouse Mouse and the return of former star Anne-Marie Duff as Fiona Gallagher.
