Hugh Jackman will reprise his role as X-Men character Wolverine in Days of Future Past, it was been officially confirmed.
The film's director Bryan Singer confirmed recent speculation surrounding Jackman's casting on his Twitter account yesterday (December 18).
Singer wrote: "I would officially like to welcome @RealHughJackman to the cast of #Xmen Days of Future Past. Very excited! More to come..."
The sequel to X-Men: First Class is scheduled to begin shooting in early 2013 with a slated July 18 release date.
