Angus T Jones who plays Jake on Two and a Half Men has spoken out to criticise the long-running CBS comedy saying it is filth and urging people to stop watching it.
The Hollywood Reporter says the 19-year-old appears in a video making a testimony at the Voice of Prophecy in Los Angeles slamming the comedy and saying he no longer wants to appear on it.
He says "Jake from Two and a Half Men means nothing. He is a non-existent character" adding "If you watch Two and a Half Men, please stop watching Two and a Half Men. I'm on Two and a Half Men and I don't want to be on it. Please stop watching it and filling your head with filth. People say it’s just entertainment. Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you you’ll have a decision to make when it comes to television, especially with what you watch."
The young star is reported to earn $350,000 per episode receiving an increase in salary in May when the series was renewed for a tenth season.
He stars alongside Jon Cryer and Ashton Kutcher who famously replaced Charlie Sheen on the show two years ago after a very public meltdown.
