Coronation Street star Craig Charles has said that a new series of Red Dwarf is in the works.
Speaking on ITV’s This Morning, Charles who plays Lloyd on the Street has said he is keen to play Red Dwarf’s Dave Lister again during a break from the soap.
He said "We'd certainly like to do it [and] I think [the channel Dave] want to do it. So it should happen. Coronation Street are going to have to let me off for a little while longer."
He added "We'll see if it works. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work. If things are meant to be, they happen. I love playing Lloyd - I wouldn't want to stop playing him."
Red Dwarf 10 was the first new series in 13 years this year and was broadcast on UKTV channel Dave to strong audiences.
