Craig Revel Horwood has said that he could save The X-Factor.
The Strictly Come Dancing judge has claimed that he could turn around the ratings of Simon Cowell’s reality singing competition for the right price.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz, Horwood said: "I would hand out advice willingly. I could save his show for £5 million, as I've said."
The 47-year-old judge failed to mention how he would save the show, but he did admit that he is waiting for Simon to pick up the phone and avail of his help.
He added: "I can't tell you that. That's a big secret. I know what's wrong with it. I know what the solution is. It's only a phone call away, isn't it?"
However, Horwood did explain that the feedback given on the X-Factor by the judging panel needs to be less scripted.
He added: "'The X Factor is, I suppose, a little bit transparent now and I think that is its biggest problem, its biggest issue. There aren't any surprises. You could write the script yourself and see it on television that evening.
"Strictly is not [scripted]. It's not. I didn't script an argument. I didn't know I was going to give Louis [Smith] a six. I never know what the other judges are going to say, and I never know how they're going to vote. That's what I love about it and I think that's what the audience love about it."
