One Direction are heading for the big screen.
Morgan Spurlock, the documentary maker behind Super Size Me and The Greatest Movie Ever Sold, is directing a 3D movie about the boyband.
Sony Pictures is making a behind-the-scenes 3D movie about the band, which will be produced by Spurlock and Simon Cowell.
It will be a blend of concert footage and a look at the musician life, that aims to give fans a glimpse at their lives.
One Direction, which comprises of Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson, came to fame on The X Factor, and have since gone on to crack the tricky US market when they're debut album went to number one in March.
Previous films in this genre include Katy Perry: Part of Me and Justin Bieber: Never Say Never.
The film is scheduled for an August 30, 2013 release.
