Michelle Trachtenberg has been cast in a guest role on Criminal Minds.
The former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star will appear on the long-running crime drama's eighth season, Entertainment Weekly reports.
The actress will play the character of a stalker whose behaviour becomes increasingly unhinged.
She will appear in the 12th episode of the series, to be aired in early 2013.
Trachtenberg has previously starred in House, Six Feet Under and Weeds.
She currently plays the role of Georgina Sparks in Gossip Girl.
