A source claims that Harrison Ford is open to taking on the role of Han Solo again in the new Star Wars movie.
It was recently announced that Star Wars 7 would be in cinemas in 2015 after Lucasfilm was sold to Disney.
Ford previously suggested he would not have any interest in playing Solo again saying "Some characters are decidedly one-off kind of characters. Some characters don't outlive the movie."
However Entertainment Weekly are now quoting what they describe as a "highly placed" source as saying "Harrison is open to the idea of doing the movie and he's upbeat about it, all three of them are."
Ford’s co-star Mark Hamill who played Luke Skywalker in the original Star Wars trilogy said he and Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia) were told about the sequels before the Disney deal was announced.
