Oscar winner Christoph Waltz is in talks to star in the sequel to The Muppets.
Variety says the Inglourious Basterds star is in talks to play the role of an Interpol inspector who encounters the Muppets as they travel around Europe.
The Muppets director James Bobin will return to helm the sequel, but The Muppets star and co-writer Jason Segel has stated that he will have no involvement.
Waltz will next appear in Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained.
