It is reported that former Coronation Street star Georgia Taylor is set to return to the soap next year as Toyah Battersby.
The Mirror says that the character will be "totally revamped" from the one who left the show in 2003.
A source told the paper: "There has been talk for a few months now that Toyah's character [sic] could return – which would be brilliant news for Georgia who loved being in Corrie all those years ago.
"There is endless scope for terrific storylines with her stepsister Leanne (Jane Danson)."
Taylor most recently starred as Dr Ruth Winters in BBC One's Casualty.
