EastEnders actress Rachel Bright has been promoted to a series regular on the BBC soap, and love is to bloom for her character Poppy Meadow in Albert Square.
The Sun reports that this is Bright's second stint on the soap; her character previously left Walford in November as part of the Jodie Gold-Darren Miller storyline.
She returned in June of this year, with Poppy moving in with Arthur 'Fatboy' Chubb (Ricky Norwood).
Now she is to have her own storyline in the soap, with The Sun saying the romance will be on screens in the coming weeks.
After being congratulated by fans, Bright tweeted: "I'm completely overwhelmed with all this poppy love. Thank you. #Chuffed x."
