EastEnders legend June Brown is to star opposite Sue Perkins and Dawn French in Heading Out, the new BBC Two sitcom written by Great British Bake Off presenter Perkins.
The series tells the story of Sara (Perkins), a vet who is given an ultimatum by her friends to tell her parents she is gay after she turns 40.
Perkins' Great British Bake Off co-presenter Mel Giedroyc will also feature, along with Benidorm and The League of Gentlemen's Steve Pemberton and Drop the Dead Donkey and Hollyoaks star Jeff Rawle.
Perkins has said of the show: "I think once the gnawing terror, sleepless nights and relentless self-doubt has subsided, this might well be the thing that I'm most proud of."
Heading Out will be shown next year.
