A much-loved EastEnders character will be arrested in the soap next week.

After he discovers that Danny Pennant (Gary Lucy) is harassing Syed Masood (Marc Elliott), Christian Clarke (John Partridge) confronts him.
However, Christian is left reeling when Danny tells him that he slept with Syed.
After taunting Christian that he is not the right man for Syed, Christian loses his temper and punches the banker.
But Danny fights back and Christian takes a bad beating.
His problems worsen later in the week when Danny reports him for assault and he is arrested.
