Drew Barrymore has welcomed her first child, a baby girl.
The actress, who is married to art dealer Will Kopelman, gave birth to daughter Olive Barrymore Kopelman on September 26 in Los Angeles.
The couple said in a statement: "We are proud to announce the birth of our daughter, Olive Barrymore Kopelman, born September 26, healthy, happy and welcomed by the whole family.
"Thank you for respecting our privacy during this most special time in our lives."
The Hollywood star and Kopelman wed at their estate in Montecito, Southern California in June.
After making her directorial debut in 2009's Whip It, Barrymore will get back behind the camera on Warner Bros' apocalyptic drama The End.
