Martin Freeman is the latest actor to sign up to The World's End, a new film by Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright.
The actor, soon to be seen in the Hobbit films, joins the cast of the new comedy from the writers behind Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Rosamund Pike, Paddy Considine and Eddie Marsan have also signed-on to star.
Details about the film's plot are limited, while Variety report the film as being 'social science fiction', revolving around five childhood friends reuniting after 20 years.
Filming began this week in the UK.
