Irish actor Emmett Scanlan was named Best Actor at the Inside Soap Awards in London last night.
Scanlan, who plays Brendan Brady in Hollyoaks, also won the award for Best Bad Boy.
EastEnders was the biggest winner on the night, winning seven awards, including Best Soap.
Gillian Wright, who plays Jean Slater in the BBC soap, was named Best Actress, while co-star Hetti Bywater, who plays Lucy Beale, won the Best Newcomer award.
EastEnders stars also won the Funniest Male and Funniest Female awards: Ricky Norwood for his portrayal of Arthur 'Fat Boy' Chubb, and Tameka Empson for her portrayal of Kim Fox.
The award for Best Bitch went to EastEnders' Charlie Brooks, who plays Janine Butcher, and the soap's David Witts was named Sexiest Male for his role as Joey Branning.
Coronation Street's Michelle Keegan, who plays Tina McIntyre, also won two awards: Sexiest Female and Best-Dressed Soap Star.
Keegan's co-star Alex Bain, who plays Simon Barlow, was named Best Young Actor.
The award for Best Drama went to Waterloo Road.
Neighbours was named Best Daytime Soap, with star Ryan Moloney, who plays Jarrod 'Toadie' Rebecchi, named Best Daytime Star.
