James Corden ties the knot

James Corden married fiance Julia Carey yesterday at Babington House in Somerset, South West England.

The star-studded event was attended by an array of celebrities including David Walliams, Michael McIntyre, Jimmy Carr, Gavin & Stacey co-star Ruth Jones, Doctor Who's Matt Smith and singer Natalie Imbruglia.

After walking down the aisle the British comedian and his 32-year-old wife, who both arrived at the venue by helicopter, were serenaded by Snow Patrol's Gary Lightbody.

Meanwhile, Rizzle Kicks and Chris Moyles provided the reception entertainment.

Julia,who quit her job as a charity press officer to raise the couple's son 18-month-old son, Max sported a Monique Lhuillier gown named Catherine after the Duchess of Cambridge, according to the Daily Mail newspaper.

Corden is reported to have spent £200,000 hiring Babington House, a 32-bedroom former stately home that is now a hotel and private members’ club, for the three-day celebration, which began with a drinks reception on Friday evening.
