Mark Millar has placed Ryan Reynolds and Bradley Cooper as his first choices for the lead role in the movie adaptation of his Supercrooks comic.
Taking to his Twitter page, Millar wrote: "Ryan Reynolds should play johnny bolt in our Supercrooks movie. He'd be perfect for it. Such a likeable actor."
However, he later stated that Hangover star Bradley Cooper would also be the ideal candidate for the role after a fan made the suggestion, writing: "Good call. Bradley cooper would be an amazing Johnny Bolt. Nacho, we should write that down."
Supercrooks tells the story of a group of supervillains who move to Tenerife in an attempt to find an easier environment in which to commit their crimes.
The movie adaptation is scheduled for release in 2014.
