30 Rock star Tina Fey is to voice a character on The Simpsons.
According to Entertainment Weekly, she will play Ms Cantwell, a substitute teacher who arrives at Springfield Elementary, in an upcoming episode of the long-running cartoon.
Cantwell is pleasant to her students, but takes a dislike to Lisa Simpson and bullies the young prodigy in an episode entitled Black-Eyed, Please.
Other stars due to appear in The Simpsons' upcoming 24th season include pop star Justin Bieber, veteran musician Tom Waits, Sherlock lead Benedict Cumberbatch and New Girl's Zooey Deschanel.
