Miley Cyrus has been confirmed for a guest-starring role in Two and a Half Men.
The singer was rumoured to be joining the show, but the star's representatives and CBS did not comment on the reports when the news broke earlier this month.
Deadline reports that Cyrus will play the character of Missi in two episodes of the sitcom. She is an old family friend of Walden's (Ashton Kutcher) who comes to visit for a week and develops a relationship with Jake (Angus T Jones) when he comes home from the army.
Season 10 of Two and a Half Men will premiere on Thursday, September 27 on CBS in the US.
