Matthew McConaughey has revealed that his children were delighted to hear that they were getting a younger sibling.
The Magic Mike star recently confirmed that he and wife Camila Alves are expecting their third child together.
Their four-year-old son Levi and two-year-old daughter Vida were thrilled at the news.
McConaughey told People: "When Camila and I told them the news there was a lot of dancing and a lot of singing.
"One of them wants a brother, the other one wants a sister and then they switch the next day."
The 42-year-old actor recently spoke about the possibility of a sequel to Magic Mike, saying he is keen to reprise his role as club owner Dallas.
"I'm talking to Channing [Tatum] about that," McConaughey told Vulture. "Let's get some more Dallas in there. Just stick with Dallas."
