Jurassic Park 4 will be released “within two years,” producer Frank Marshall has confirmed.
The long-awaited project is being eyed for a summer release since it is a “popcorn movie,” Marshall says.
Speaking to Collider, he said: ''I would say that it will be on the screen within two years.''
Marshall says the new movie is a sequel and not a reboot of any of the previous films, adding that recent developments in visual effects will make the movie more exciting.
'That's what's gonna be great about it, technology's taken a leap now that we can really do some great things.''
Steven Spielberg is expected to produce the project, but will not direct.
