Former Wire star Sonja Sohn has landed herself a five-episode story arc on USA Network's Burn Notice.
Sohn played Detective Kima Greggs in The Wire and most recently featured as a cast member on Dana Delany’s procedural, Body of Proof, in the role of Detective Samantha Baker.
Sohn and three of her co-stars were let go from Body of Proof in June, just weeks after the series scored an eleventh-hour renewal for a third season.
In Burn Notice, Sohn will play high-level CIA director Olivia Riley, a woman who pulls no punches. She's described as an established author of books on counterintelligence training and procedures, and someone who's clever and brazen.
The drama – starring Jeffrey Donovan as ‘burned’ spy Michael Weston and based in Miami – continues its fifth season on Mondays on British satellite channel FXUK.
