Pop singer Jamelia has landed her first acting role on BBC series Death in Paradise.
The Superstar singer will guest star in the second series of the hit UK drama about a UK police man sent to the Caribbean to uncover the truth about a colleague’s death.
ContactMusic quotes the singer as saying: "I'm so excited - not only am I in a great drama filming my first TV role but I'm doing it in the Caribbean too! I'm really looking forward to working with such a talented cast."
Stephanie Beacham and Gemma Jones have previously made guest appearances on the show.
