Pete Doherty has had to leave the rehab clinic The Cabin in Thailand so he won't disrupt other patients' recovery.

Doherty checked into the $7,200-a-month clinic last month in another attempt to overcome his addictions to heroin and crack cocaine.

The director of the programme in The Cabin told the Daily Mail that, "Pete was discharged today for therapeutic reasons. It is important to maintain the integrity of the treatment programme for the other clients to have a good chance of recovery. Pete understands this and therefore the reasons behind why we have asked him to leave."

The Cabin is ranked as one of the most successful rehab clinics in the world and while Doherty is said to have responded well to the treatment initially, his tolerance deteriorated and he had to be asked to leave as his presence would not be good for the other patients.
