Lord Sugar agrees to more Apprentice

Lord Alan Sugar has agreed to another two series of The Apprentice.

Taking to his Twitter page, the former Amstrad boss confirmed that he is set to front two more series of the BBC reality show.

He wrote: "I have agreed to do 2 more series of The Apprentice, making it 10 years. I've opened applications again for series 9 apply now."

Sir Alan also attached a link to the show's online application process on the social networking site.

The Apprentice's eighth series concluded in June with recruitment manager and professional wrestler Ricky Martin becoming Lord Sugar's business partner and receiving a £250,000 investment.
