Unforgettable, the Poppy Montgomery crime drama series which was cancelled by American network CBS is set to be brought back to life.
The series was cancelled last month by the network after just one season. However, executives tweeted from the network's official Twitter page late last night to confirm that the show has been picked up for next season.
'Hey #Unforgettable fans. It's official, the series will return to #CBS for summer 2013' the network posted. Sky Living aired the series in the UK and Ireland.
The series follows police detective Carrie Wells (Montgomery) who lives with hyperthymesia, a rare medical condition that allows a person to hold a photographic memory of everything.
Australian actress Montgomery (37) is best-known for her role as Samantha Spade in the long-running crime series Without A Trace. Unforgettable also stars Nip/Tuck actor Dylan Walsh.
