Rapper 50 Cent was reportedly hospitalised following a car crash yesterday.
Fansite ThisIs50 says that his bulletproof SUV almost flipped over after being hit by a truck on New York City's Long Island Expressway yesterday.
50 Cent was put in a neck brace and stretcher and taken to a nearby hospital in Queens for tests on his neck and back.
The driver of the truck is said to have told police that his load shifted, causing him to lose control of his vehicle just before the collision.
A G-Unit source later told XXLMag that 50 Cent was "fine" after the accident and had been released from hospital. The condition of the driver was also said to be "good".
Photos on the performer’s website showed damage to the SUV’s rear end, but the truck appeared to be in even worse shape, with a hole torn in the front.
The rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, is due to release his next studio album 5 (Murder by Numbers) on July 2.
