Actor Steve Carell still finds it difficult to believe that he gets cast as the leading man in movies.
He has topped the bill in hit romantic comedies like The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Crazy. Stupid. Love. but Steve Carell has admitted that he still can’t believe he is hired to as the main man.
He said: “How did I end up in films with people like Keira Knightley and Julianne Moore? All these beautiful leading ladies and me - it's kind of shocking."
Speaking to Parade, Carell also reflected on the many years he spent struggling for acting success and singled out telemarketing as his worst pre-fame job.
"At one point, I was a wine telemarketer. Talking people into buying wine on the phone is not an easy job to begin with, but when you don't know anything about wine and you really don't drink it, it becomes even more difficult," he quipped.
