Jonah Hill has signed up for Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained.

The 21 Jump Street star previously turned down the role in the movie due to scheduling conflicts but now he is able to play a different character, who is yet unknown, in the film.

Jonah rejected the role of Scotty Harmony, who loses the titular character Django's (Jamie Foxx) slave wife Broomhilda (Kerry Washington) to evil plantation owner Calvin Candie (DiCaprio).

Filming has been underway on the film since last year and an early trailer has even been seen for the movie which is set to be released in early 2013.

Hill and DiCaprio will then join forces for Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street, which is based on Jordan Belfort's memoir of his rise and fall as a stockbroker.
