Dermot Mulroney has joined the cast of the Steve Jobs biopic.
He will play the role of Mike Markkula in the film, which stars Ashton Kutcher in the leading role, according to reports in Deadline.
Markkula was an early investor in Apple. He became the third owner and employee of the company, and served as its second CEO.
The film is written by Matt Whiteley and directed by Joshua Michael Stern. Other members of the cast include Josh Gad as Steve Wozniak, Lukas Haas as Daniel Kottke and Ahna O'Reilly as Chris-Ann Brennan.
Mulroney was also recently cast in the second season of a HBO comedy Enlightened.
He was last seen in The Grey with Liam Neeson and as a love interest in Zooey Deschanel's comedy New Girl.
Jobs is due for release in 2013.
