Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul is said to be attached to HBO's Cold War spy drama The Missionary.
The actor is in talks to take the lead role in the new pilot, which centres on a young American missionary who finds himself embroiled with the CIA in 1960s Berlin, Deadline reports.
Executive producers for the project are Mark Wahlberg, along with his collaborator Stephen Levinson, author Malcolm Gladwell and writer Charles Randolp, who has also written the script.
Paul will next be seen in the fifth and final season of AMC's Breaking Bad, which will premiere on July 15.
