Cheryl Cole and Nadine Coyle have laid to rest any rumours that there was a bitter feud between the two Girls Aloud stars

They have not been seen together since their last Girls Aloud gig at Wembley stadium in 2009. At the time it was said that Nadine and Cheryl had a huge falling out and were barely speaking in the previous months.

Since then Nadine and Cheryl’s careers have gone on very separate paths. Nadine upped sticks and moved to LA in search of musical success. However the Derry native’s debut solo album received disappointing sales.

Cheryl on the other hand is gearing up to release her third solo offering after racketing up a string of hits on the charts.

Rumours had always followed the girls around they didn’t get on, but once the group parted ways on a break, the tensions between the reality TV show formed band came into the spotlight.

When Cheryl contracted malaria in 2010 she reportedly ignored Nadine’s get-well message. While Nadine said of her bandmates last year: “They’re not my friends.”

However, with Girls Aloud gearing up to celebrate 10 years in the music business later this year, it appears that Cheryl and Nadine have decided it is time to put their feud to bed.

On Saturday night Nadine had apparently been out in London with a group of friends when she heard that Cheryl was heading to the Rose Club - to celebrate the release of her latest single Call My Name - so Nadine decided to pop along to see her.

A source told The Mirror: "She was there when Cheryl arrived. She squealed with delight when she saw her." There girls then spent the night catching up.

And Cheryl has another reason to be happy, Call My Name topped the UK iTunes downloads chart after its release over the weekend.

Cheryl tweeted: "I CAN'T BELIEVE WHAT I AM SEEING... How can Call My Name be no 1 on iTunes and I only put it out at Midnight.."

And she went on to thank her fans, adding: "You lot are UNBELIEVABLE."
