An unofficial biography detailing the life of Adele is to be released next month.
The book, which is the first about the singer's background, will cover events from her childhood to the present day.
Biographer Marc Shapiro said that the book will tell the story of the singer's life "without overt sensationalism".
He said: "Adele has still remained largely that salt-of-the-earth girl from Tottenham."
Reports suggest that Shapiro, who has also written a book on popstar Justin Bieber, requested interviews with Adele, which she declined.
