Morrissey has suggested that he might retire within the next two years.
The Irish Blood, English Heart singer explained that he will bow out of his music career at the age of 55.
Speaking to Juice online, the 53 year old singer said: "I am slightly shocked to have gone as far as I have. This is my 30th year, and I've aged a lot recently, which is a bit distressing for me, as it must be for everyone."
He added: "The body changes shape and there's nothing you can do about it... I take one hour at a time."
Morrissey most recently released his ninth studio album Years of Refusal in 2009.
