Henry Ian Cusick will not be returning for season two of the ABC hit show Scandal.
Cusick, best known to television audiences as Desmond from Lost, played womanising attorney Stephen Finch on the drama.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cusick and showrunner Shonda Rhimes came to the mutual decision for the actor to leave the show.
Scandal was renewed for a second season in May, marking Rhimes's third series on ABC, the other two being Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice.
