Mad Men star Jared Harris has revealed some shocking news about his role on the hit TV drama.

The show’s most recent episode saw Harris’s character Lane Pryce commit suicide after his financial troubles became too much to deal with.
Speaking to Hitfix he said: "I probably had two seasons' worth of storyline in this episode. I went out with a bang, so I'm very, very happy about that."
"There's vindictiveness about how he goes about it. He hangs himself in the office. He makes it as difficult for them as possible."
Harris continued to explain that Hamm (Don), Slattery (Roger), and Kartheiser (Pete) were genuinely shocked when they found his characters body saying: "They didn't see me [beforehand]. When they literally pushed through that door and saw me hanging, that was the first time they had seen it. They didn't see a rehearsal or anything like that.
"That was their first look at it, and that was pretty genuine shock on all their faces. They knew, of course, because they had read the script, but those guys did a brilliant job, the make-up department. And they hadn't seen that.
"They were pretty weirded out by it."
