Charlie Sheen has opened up about his media meltdown last year.

The Anger Management star who was fired from his CBS show Two and a Half Men admitted that he was “in denial” about his behaviour for some time.

Speaking to Rolling Stone he said: "Clearly, a guy gets fired, his relationships are in the toilet, he's off on some f**king tour, there's nothing 'winning' about any of that.

"I mean, how does a guy who's obviously quick-sanded, how does he consider any of it a victory? I was in total denial."

Sheen caused a media frenzy last year by Twitter-trending catchphrases such as #TigerBlood and #Winning.
