Friends of Script star and Voice UK coach Danny O'Donoghue's have denied that he is romantically involved with Bo Bruce, the act he mentored on the show.
Bruce was beaten in the final by Leanne Mitchell on Saturday night.
Suggestions that O’Donoghue and Bruce were more than just friends are said to have started among viewers and staff at the BBC when O'Donoghue's Lithuanian model partner Irma Mali did not attend the final of The Voice UK.
O'Donoghue also posted a photo of himself and Bruce on Twitter showing them backstage at The Voice UK drinking wine together.
However, sources close to the singer have dismissed the rumours. "They're not having an affair - don't be ridiculous. They have great chemistry but that's just Danny being enthusiastic. He believes in Bo and they get on but that's it," a friend told The Sun.
O’Donoghue recently tweeted a link to a pre-order site for The Script’s third album which states that the release date is September 10th this year.
