The Hangover star Bradley Cooper will produce action movie American Sniper through his production company, 22nd & Indiana.
The film is an adaptation of Navy SEAL Chris Kyle's book American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in US Military History.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jason Dean Hall will write the screenplay, while Andrew Lazar and Peter Morgan will produce with Cooper. Bradley Cooper will most likely also star in the film.
The original book is the autobiography of Texas-born Chris Kyle, the son of a Sunday school teacher, who held the record for the most sniper kills for the USA.
Cooper will star in a number of other upcoming projects, including road trip movie Hit & Run and thriller The Watch.
