Dana Delany’s Body of Proof and Grey’s Anatomy offshoot Private Practice have both been renewed by ABC Studios.
The former Desperate Housewives' star has managed an international hit with Body of Proof, a procedural that also stars Star Trek favourite Jeri Ryan, and a third season of 13 episodes is envisaged.
Body of Proof’s first season ran recently on Saturday nights on RTÉ One while the show continues on UK satellite channel Alibi.
Private Practice has also been officially renewed for a 13-episode run, for a sixth and likely final season of the medical drama that stars Kate Walsh as Dr. Addison Forbes Montgomery.
Private Practice continues on Thursday nights on RTÉ Two.
