Lyn Collingwood has announced that she is leaving Home and Away, after 13 years starring in the soap.
The actress first appeared on the show in 1988 as Colleen Smart for two years, before returning in 1999 as a regular character.
Collingswood's castmate Luke Mitchell, who plays Romeo Smith on the soap, said that her departure was "very sad".
Mitchell told TV Week: "She's been around nearly as long as Ray [Meagher, who plays Alf].
"I really enjoyed working with her and she's one of my favourite characters to watch on screen."
Colleen's exit scenes were filmed a few months ago and will be aired in Australia in the near future.
