Cabin in the Woods star Anna Hutchison has been cast in the upcoming third season of Spartacus.
The 26-year-old New Zealand actress will portray Laeta, the privileged wife of a Roman dignitary who finds herself party to the battle against Spartacus.
In other casting news, Australian Jenna Lind (Underbelly) will play Kore, a loyal slave to Simon Merrells's Marcus Crassus, while another Kiwi, Gwendoline Taylor will play Sibyl, a slave rescued from the Romans who impresses leaders of the rebellion.
Former Home and Away actor Todd Lasance has been cast in the series as Julius Caesar.
