Rihanna continues her big screen takeover as she has landed a role in the next instalment of The Fast and The Furious.
After impressing movie execs with her recent turn in Battleship the We Found Love hitmaker is set to play the villain in the sixth instalment of action franchise.
A source told The Sun: "Rihanna impressed with her acting debut in Battleship. Writers think she’ll be perfect for the role. Her character has plenty of bite and doesn’t take any prisoners — just like her in real life.
"It’s a step up the ladder for her and could lead to bigger action roles."
Rihanna will be driving supercars alongside The Fast and The Furious regulars Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock, and will film her part in London.
The singer will also film scenes in Essex as racing scenes will be shot in Southend when London is out of bounds to filmmakers during the Olympics.
