An ITV spokesperson has denied reports that the broadcaster is planning to axe morning show Daybreak, but has said there will be presenter changes for the new season.

The Daily Mail's MailOnline says it is thought that current presenters Kate Garraway and Dan Lobb will stay on to present the first, news-led hour of the show from 7am, while Lorraine Kelly has been linked to a new presenter role.

The ITV spokesperson told MailOnline: "We have made a number of changes at Daybreak and, as is the case with all of our shows, we are always looking at ways in which we can continue to make improvements."

The spokesperson said producers had yet to decide who will present the show.
