Martin Lawrence and his wife Shamicka are to divorce.
The couple married in their home in Beverly Hills in July 2010, having been together for 15 years previously.
The actor's representative said in a statement: "Martin and Shamicka Lawrence have decided to divorce. The couple has made the joint decision to part ways."
They are parents to 11-year-old daughter Amara and 9-year-old daughter Iyana, and according to People they will continue to raise their family together.
They said in a joint statement: "Out of love and respect for one another we will continue to remain friends and raise our two beautiful daughters together."
