Funnyman Des Bishop is set to tackle Ireland's stages again, with a brand new tour this Summer.
The comedian, will march to the beat of his own drum, by taking a new-found passion and incorporating it into his show - drumming!
"It’s going to be a bit silly, a bit musical, a bit improvised" Des says, as he combines his love of hip-hop, beat-boxing and audience participation into his shows.
Explaining the title of the tour, Des Bishop Likes To Bang, Des says "the title comes from being given an electronic drum kit as a gift recently. I started messing around with it and ended up behind a set on stage. It went really well, so I’ve put together a comedy show with a bit of rhythm in it."
The 36-year-old comedian will begin his tour in Portlaoise on May 19th, followed by performances in Dublin, Galway, Tipperary, Letterkenny, Kerry, Sligo, Carlow, Limerick, Mayo and Waterford. Bishop is currently touring Australia and New Zealand.
